I diluted the wash and applied it to Fell Helm and it came out with much better results.

I'm debating whether to add some flesh color where his right arm comes out of the sleeve. A slight bit of color may actually accent the drab coloring. I will study on it a bit before I varnish.
This is a 15mm ghost from Splintered Light Greater Undead set and my first try at Object Source Lighting (OSL). I have a Paasche airbrush, but thought I'd try hand brushing since its a small fig.
I applied the yellow wash first and it went on brighter than I anticipated, alarmingly bright, brighter than I could make the lantern appear. I switched the lantern color from yellow to the brightest green I could find in my wife's tube acrylics. The neon green lantern light looks much better, but not even close to what some painters are achieving.
Okay for a first try and fun to try something new. I have more minis with lanterns, so I will try again. If they don't come out better, then that's what paint stripper is for . LOL.
