SfA skirmish

Played a short skirmish game to check stats on a large creature. It went pretty well with movement, attack. Since the dinosaur was a d12 core adversary, all shots could be considered hits, so just added up the damage dice as the turns went along. I didn't use a saving throw, but gave the dino about 30 hp. Need to come up with an option to reduce hp tracking so may use some kind of core die reduction for hits like d12 down to d4 for each turn with an opportunity to avoid the reduction.

The river landing. A crocodile in one of the pools of the marshy area was by passed.

From that point the mission was to reach the far end of the table and return.
It took about 7 movement turns and each turn a d6 was rolled on the chance for dino to enter the board at a random area.
Got a d6 when the party had just made a couple of moves to return to the boat.

The party was able to consolidate in some cover and returned fire. Two volley before the dino had a successful attack and grabbed a sailor. While the dino stepped back to chew, the party broke for the beach.
The dino caught up and managed to snatch one more sailor before they all boarded the boat. That one the dino flung and attacked again but the boat had moved away from the beach.
