New finished figures

These are 15mm figs. The MU with the flame is from Splintered Light miniatures and the slayers and pumpkin head scarecrows are from Old Glory ( Blue moon mfg ). The slayer with the cross and stake had a cast line that took me two tries to correct and I ended up mangling the face a bit. All were painted with Amsterdam inks.

Realm of the Free King map

The Free King Highwaye is the brown line that runs along the Southern border of the Realm from coast to coast and also spurs up the the Citadel of the Free King. It's used to move goods and troops throughout the Realm and helps maintain communication and consolidation.

Backdrop repaint

I was able to add in some depth on the right side of the backdrop. Not as much as I wanted, because I initially painted the skyline so high, but it helps a little.

Table progress

Boo, back to work and trying to find time to update in addition to make progress on gaming and painting. Lack of updates doesn't mean I haven't been busy. I purchased Old School Essentials Basic rules by Necrotic Gnome from Drivethru RPG. Its pretty much the same as my old D&D books and supplements, but its a quick read and on pdf I can scan out pages I may want to use while gaming.
I also finished up the terrain piece. I'll have to make more but its something to put on the table and scenic while I get some characters and backgrounds made up.
I painted the backdrop too which is going to work fantastic, but I need to get some more depth into it.
I found some free PC sheets online and they will work for now. I was able to shop the 15mm figs onto the sheets just for reference.

Some pictures of the terrain piece with scenery and backdrop.

15mm figs on the table. I have 2 tribes of goblins I'll be using. The Redcaps and the Hell Pumpkins. The Hell Pumpkins in the foreground have a couple of scarecrows tagging along..I'll need to come up with a name for the Orc tribe(s).

Some of the character sheets I've made up.

Time to start rolling some dice.
